Turbine FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Clear answers about our Edmonton AI income skills courses, enrolment, scope and what we do not offer.
Is Profit AI Engine a trading, crypto or investment platform?
No. Profit AI Engine Inc. is a vocational training provider registered in Alberta. We teach AI income skills for billable professional work — prompt engineering, client deliverables, service packaging and productivity workflows. We do not offer algorithmic trading, cryptocurrency signals, portfolio management, forex coaching, NFT strategies or any financial product requiring securities licensing. The word Engine in our brand refers to skill power delivery through our turbine curriculum, not a financial engine or automated profit system. If you are seeking investment advice or trading education, this is not the right provider.
Do you guarantee income increases or business results?
No. Our courses teach practical AI work skills that can support income growth through client work, productivity and professional service delivery. We do not promise specific salary increases, profit levels, client acquisition rates or business performance. Certificates confirm training participation and demonstrated competency within our vocational scope — they are not professional licences and do not imply guaranteed commercial outcomes. Individual results depend on your effort, market conditions, existing skills and how you apply what you learn.
What AI tools do you teach?
Our core curriculum focuses on ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot and Claude because these tools appear frequently in Canadian professional environments. We teach prompt engineering, context framing, output review and workflow documentation that transfer across tool updates. We do not teach software development, API integration, machine learning engineering or custom model training. Bring your own laptop and any existing subscriptions to these tools; we provide instructional guidance and practice scenarios.
Is this a programming or coding bootcamp?
No. We teach AI productivity and client-service skills for working professionals — not software development, web development or app building. You will not learn Python, JavaScript or how to build AI applications. Our focus is applying existing generative AI tools to billable work contexts such as writing, research, proposals, marketing content and operational documentation.
Can I attend remotely?
Yes. Live cohorts offer virtual turbine bay participation via secure video conferencing with the same checkpoint structure as our Edmonton studio. Self-paced modules with optional live checkpoint calls are also available for learners who cannot attend synchronous sessions. Remote participants must complete PIPEDA consent and acknowledge our vocational training scope before enrolment.
What is the maximum cohort size?
Live studio and virtual cohorts are capped at fourteen learners to ensure facilitator attention during powertrain station exercises and peer review sessions. Corporate private packages may accommodate slightly larger groups with adjusted facilitation ratios — contact us for scoped proposals.
How long are programmes?
Standard programmes range from six to fourteen weeks depending on the module. Turbine Foundations runs twelve weeks; Capstone Turbine runs twelve weeks with prerequisite completion of at least two prior modules. Corporate intensive formats can compress content into two-to-five-day engagements. See our programmes page for specific durations and pricing in Canadian dollars.
Do you offer refunds?
Refund terms are specified in our enrolment agreement and Terms of Service. Generally, full refunds are available up to fourteen days before cohort start minus a processing fee. After materials access begins, partial refunds may apply on a pro-rata basis. Contact [email protected] for specific enrolment questions.
Are certificates recognised by employers?
Our certificates confirm participation and demonstrated competency within our stated vocational training scope. Recognition varies by employer and industry. They are not government-accredited credentials, professional licences or regulated designations. Many learners include certificates in professional development portfolios; we recommend discussing relevance with your HR department or clients directly.
How do you handle AI errors in training?
AI-generated outputs can be inaccurate, incomplete or biased. Every module emphasises human review before professional use. We teach verification habits, source checking and disclosure practices when AI assists deliverables. Learners practise identifying hallucinations and inappropriate suggestions in controlled turbine bench exercises.
